| Daniel and Melanie | A Great Tour! Oct 10 and 11 | We had the privilege of having Costanza as our guide for one and a half days. I found her through a google search on guides of Siena looking for a guide who was local, knowledgeable, spoke good English, and allowed personalized tours. She was all of these and more. I found her very responsive to my emails while planning the tours and very professional. We started with a morning in Siena where she guided throughout the city teaching us the history, culture and taking us to the most important sites. The next day we met in Montalcino where we spent the morning touring the city, then out to the Abbey of St. Antimo where we waited to hear the chants. Afterwards out to lunch at an Agriturismo, then on to two wineries where she arranged for personal wine tastings. It was a full day, but one of more memorable in Tuscany. By the end of our time we felt Costanza was part of group, and wished we could have taken her on the remainder of our adventures! We started in Montalcino with a tour of this beautiful town famous for its Brunello wine. We then hiked along a scenic route to the amazing Sant'Antimo monastery. We were impressed with Costanza's knowledge of the local flora and fauna, never mind the historical, cultural, and architectural details of the area. We also had a tour of Siena.
